  Are Ants The Real Superheros?  If you're like me, and you love superhero cartoons, comics, and movies, then you may love these ant facts. We seem to have superheros right here in our own backyard.  Fun Fact 1 : Ants can lift 20 times their own body weigh, Wow! Think about it like this...... If a second-grader was as strong as an ant, they could pick up a car! Just imagine if we had that kind of strength.  Fun Fact 2:  Ants don’t have lungs. Air enters and leaves through tiny holes all over their body. Now that is efficient. Fun Fact 3 :  Ants leave invisible breadcrumbs (called a  pheromone   trail) everywhere they go, so they know where they’ve been. I don't know about you, but I have been lost before, and it would have been so nice to be able to find my way back home by using my pheromone trail, LOL.   I hope you enjoyed these fun ant facts.
