  I grew up loving the era of television when getting covered in green slime somehow looked like the greatest prize imaginable. Shows like Double Dare, What Would You Do?, Wild & Crazy Kids, Nickelodeon GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Figure It Out made game shows feel larger than life. The sets were bright, the props were oversized, the crowds were loud, and there was always a chance that somebody would end up wearing a pie or an entire bucket of slime.
